Through our knowledge and experience, we recognise that to create the perfect lawn, it requires a lot more than fertilisers alone. Each lawn is unique and therefore requires a unique individual tailored maintenance programme.

As part of our ALL INCLUSIVE Premier Service we will appoint a fully trained Greenkeeper with a full range of professional products from the golf and sporting world at his disposal. Your Greenkeeper will tailor an annual programme taking all of your lawns needs into account. In addition to his extensive knowledge and skills an annual soil sample will be taken to determine the PH levels of your soil, any problems identified will be recorded in order for the appropriate course of action to be taken to control problems prior to them escalating.

Throughout the course of the year it is natural for a percentage of existing grass in your lawn to die off over the course of a year, creating a “Thatch” layer. A build up of “Thatch” will restrict fertiliser, oxygen and moisture from penetrating into the soil, starving the grass roots of these vital nutrients required for the grass plant to remain strong and healthy. The lawn will become “spongy”, the grass thin and sparse and prone to many different diseases.

To control this your lawn will be dressed and overseeded annually and this will be carried out in conjunction with scarification and aeration. All Geenkeepers would advocate that this is one of the most effective practices carried out to maintain a healthy looking lawn.
